1/2 Watt Guitar Amplifier |

Yes, that's right, the Gilmore cranks out a huge 1/2 watt of pure tone. Why? Because it seems as though nearly everyone has a recording studio in their home these days. This is not a cheapo practice amp, the Gilmore is a pro recording amp with a push pull output stage and a full tone stack. Designed to behave and sound like a "real" amp, the Gilmore performs its duties and then some.

The Gilmore is available as a head or a 1-12 combo -- the combo equipped with a Gerhart WG12N8 12" speaker made by WeberVST. Shown here with the 212-50 cab, the Gilmore will also drive a 4-12 with ease. Again, this a recording amp, designed to allow cranked amp recording at low volume. Because of this, no effort has been made to compensate for low frequency response at such low power levels. What that means is if you sit in the room with the amp you may perceive a lack of low end due to the limits of human hearing. The mic does not have these limits, so the recording is as large and full as you want it to be.
